Arcade style Joystick. This stick uses 4 heavy duty mechanical switches to sense position. It's not proportional kind joystick, but on/off in 8 direction switch. It's ideal to control old-school games that require precise actions in definite direction.

 

Ships with 8-way configuration from factory. You can easily change to 4-way joystick and inhibit diagonals by removing and rotating base plate. This is useful for games like pacman that used a 4-way joystick and don't accept diagonals as input.

 

Ideal for MAME, CNC Control panels, or the perfect KITT replica including Atari videogames, but suitable any time you need a good quality joystick input.
